Human livelihood is called artha. The land with humans is also called ‘artha’. The scripture that determines the means of nourishing this earth is called ‘Arthashastra’. This scripture contains a collection of 32 types of arguments. Such as adhukaran, vidhaan, yoga, jiyasa, hetavartha, kuzhaba, nirdara, udhe, apadesha, abhitdesha, pradesh, upama, arthapara, samshaya, samshya, samshya viparyaya, samshyasha, anumata, bharanha, samshya, nidarana, upagar, sabsanga, purupaya, uttarpaya, ekanta, anagatabehkan, aktrikranthakan, niyoga, alternative, samsharajay and udyo.
Thus this scripture is full of all the systematic arguments. This scripture has been created to attain this world and the next and to fulfill karbhavya. This scripture awakens the instincts of religion, wealth and work in the minds of the people and enjoins their protection, and also destroys the enemies of wealth, the unprofitable. The one who, overcome by anger, quickly rescued the world from the clutches of weapons, armor and the Nanda king, was the one who prepared this scripture.
