Minnesota Fraud Investigation Exposes $1 Billion Scam Linked to Governor Tim Walz

Introduction

Soda. We are revolving around Governor Tim Walz. Yes, in Minnesota, you have a big Somali population, and after investigations by the Manhattan Institute, the situation has become more alarming. These two guys from that organisation last month investigated Minnesota’s Medicaid Housing Stabilisation Services Program. It’s called Feeding Our Future. They also investigated other organisations to find out where tax dollars are going.

A Billion-Dollar Scandal

They found out that it is a billion dollars—yes, a billion—believed to be going to Somalia. And that money is allegedly reaching a terrorist organisation, Al-Shabab, which is a militant group in Somalia and an Al-Qaeda-linked terrorist organisation. Why are tax dollars doing this? If you live in Minnesota, you’re working really hard, and some of your pay cheque is going, according to this Minnesota fraud investigation, to a terrorist group, including pandemic aid.

Governor’s Pandemic Failure

During the pandemic, this governor not only allowed the riots to go crazy after George Floyd, but when the money came flooding in, he had no idea where it was going. When whistleblowers stepped up and said, ‘This is fraudulent, this is fake, and this money is going to the wrong people,’ he went after the whistleblowers. That is the core of the investigation.

Federal Charges and Massive Fraud

Now, the Justice Department announced new charges last week against the 78th defendant in the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme, which prosecutors say involved more than 250 million dollars in stolen funds alone—just from a federally funded child nutrition programme. This has already resulted in more than 50 convictions.

Governor’s Response

The Governor had an opportunity to address this. You’d think he would take the criticism and say, “I made a mistake.” That’s what leaders do, especially when he was running for vice president. But when pressed on it, here’s what he said:

Governor Walz’s Statement

“Do you take responsibility for failing to stop this fraud in your state? ”
“Well, certainly, I take responsibility for putting people in jail. Governors don’t get to talk theoretically; we have to solve problems. Minnesota is a generous state, a prosperous, well-run state with an AAA bond rating. That attracts criminals. Those people are going to jail. But to demonise an entire community based on the actions of a few is lazy, and that’s Donald Trump—deflect, demonise, come up with no solutions.”

Accountability Questions Remain

It’s not about demonising Somalis. The question is: How did you let this get this far? A billion dollars of taxpayer money—who was in charge of that money? Why was it sent to another country? Why is it benefiting a terrorist organisation? Taxpayers want answers.

A Growing Pattern of Fraud

It’s also not generosity; it’s stupidity when you’re giving money to terrorists. Tom Emmer, also from Minnesota, said this earlier:

“I’ve got housing fraud. You’ve got daycare fraud. You’ve got 80 autism centres under investigation. All of this under Tim Walz’s watch.”

He added:

“Al-Shabab controls all financial infrastructure in Somalia. This money has gone back to Somalia. Common sense says millions of taxpayer dollars from Minnesotans have gone to terrorists known as Al-Shabab. Tim Walz should be held accountable, and someone in his administration must answer.”

Conclusion

Over a billion dollars, Lawrence. You cannot tell me this is just negligent oversight. Someone is complicit. I agree. There is something here, and I hope this Minnesota fraud investigation is just beginning
